THE FUNDAMENTALS OF CARING

Hey Guys! Today I didn't do anything very productive, I recorded a video and got my things ready as I'm staying over at my best friends tonight. So, this blog is going to be about a movie review. I just watched this really good movie which is called the title of this blog post. The movie only just came out this year and it's new on netflix. Anyway, let's talk. The movie is about a man who is a writer and he takes an interview for a job o be a full time carer for this young teenage boy called Trevor, at first he struggles as he gets to know the teenager but soon their bond is stronger than most relationships haha. They go on a fun road trip and start an adventure for the young teen. It's a wild ride, but I couldn't look away once, I got into the movie straight away and loved every second of it. I suggest giving it a watch, it really opened my eyes to how lucky I am in my life. I am thankful.

The boy is disabled as he has a muscler condition with no cure but makes the most of it with his sick sense of humor. Even though his legs will never work he lives a happy life and even finds love! I find him to be very brave (even though I know he is just playing a character) he was living proof that life is short and you really should go out and live, see the world, do the things you dream about, there's always a way, even if your in a wheelchair. Selena played the role of being his lover and she was a bad ass! she had bad attitude and she wasn't someone to mess with, she is a nice girl named Dot, who is 21. She didn't even care that he was in a wheelchair when they first met, the first thing she said to him was compliment his shoes. I love that!! I honestly don't know where I'm going with this blog, but I love that he had a good outlook on life even with his all his problems that came with his condition, and he was given 7-10 years to live but that never once let him down. I just wanted to talk about it because it was such a good movie and it made my heart ache a few times but I smiled mostly haha. No matter how big you think your problems are, you should look for the positives because there are people out there alot worse off than what you are and they are still very happy living their lives, and we should too. Guess that's all I wanted to say, don't let things get you down! you have one life go and enjoy it, live out your dreams, fall in love, be happy.
