February  4th 2018

At the age of 14 years old I joined up to play the online virtual game Smallworlds and never once have I looked back. One day I was hanging out with one of my scottish guy friend at his place on the game and he introduced me to his friend Callie aka Summer hehe Callie was her avatar name on the game and ever since that day me and Summer became the best of friends on the game, a few years later Summer deicded to leave the game I was heartbroken. A few years after we started talking on facebook and a few skype calls later we got so close and attached to each other. We got to know each other better and we always talked of meeting in real life someday. I'd say we basically grew up together and I'm so blessed to have seen Summer grow into the beautiful and smart young women she is today. A few month ago last year I got a message from Summer over facebook when she told me she had amazing news..her dreams were coming true! She got accepted into the Univercity here in Scotland. Summer is American and had never been to the UK before but always dreamed of travellling the world someday. Summer arrived in Scotland offically on January 15th. So after a few weeks of settling in here in Scotland and getting her new education sorted out we arranged a day to meet up..We were both so excited but nervous. The day finally came for us to meet!!! We arranged to meet in Stirling Thistles Shopping Centre on Febuary 4th 2018. I was literally shaking as I walked up to the building..just knowing my best friend who became like a sister to me was inside that building was so surreal. I couldn't believe this was really about to happen..I know we always talked and dreamed about this day but I don't think we ever expected it to happen. As I walked up the escelators I was searching around for her and I saw no sign..as I finally reached the top of the stairs my heart was pounding and my palms were sweaty, I thought to myself is this even real? In that moment nothing felt real. When I reached the top and walked off the stairs I looked to the left and saw no one..I turned to my right and there she was..sitting down just a few steps away from me. Immidently I regonised her beautiful long blonde hair, I honestly could not believe my eyes she was right there live in person. So many thoughts were going through my head I thought my brain might explode. I felt frozen like I was stuck and my feet wouldn't move. As we made eye contact everything went into slow motion and before I could think about what to do next Summer ran up to me and gave me the biggest warmest hug I've ever reciced. I was so happy I could of cried. I was tounge tied..I had no ides what do or say. 7 years was a very long wait..but it was so worth the wait. That 14 year old girl I once met on Smallworlds was standing in front of me smiling with her beautiful and bright white teeth. This was no dream this was real life. We spent the day shopping and we went to Mcdonalds for some lunch, we laughed and talked for hours upon hours about boys, makeup, Smallworlds, USA, our accents, our favorite things to do and eat, our favorite places in the world. We caught up on each others life's, everything that's basically ever happened since the day we met haha. We reminised on some memories the people we've met along the way. It was such an amazing day hehe. PS: SHE GIVES THE BEST HUGS!!! I will always be thankful for the day we finally met! I hope to see Summer again very soon. I will be so sad when she leaves Scotland to go back home to North Dakota in the summer. She's such a nice person, very well spoken, beautiful, funny, smart, has an accent to die for!! we discovered we have lots in common too. I will leave you all with some pictures we took hehe, we just finished eating ice cream when we took our selfies.
