My Guardian angel: Poem

My gran was one of a kind

I'd walk into a room and be greeted

with open arms and a smile

She was stubborn and always had the final word

she had lungs that would ring your ears

And an opinion on just about anything

The way she'd always pick a bone with grandad

had us all laughing till we cried

She was my safety blanket

when life got tough

she was always there with a smile

reassuring me everything would be fine

She stood up for me

always saying

I love you kiddo

no matter how old I got

The world is a lonley place

without her

I miss her everyday

my guardian angel in the sky.
